Research Use Policy
Products supplied by Veritas Coastal Labs are intended solely for lawful laboratory research by qualified professionals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices.
Permitted use
Products may be used only for in-vitro or other lawful laboratory research consistent with applicable United States law and the buyer’s institutional or professional requirements.
Prohibited use
Products are not intended for human or animal consumption, clinical use, compounding for administration, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or any use in humans or animals. Veritas Coastal Labs does not provide dosing, protocols, or therapy guidance.
Buyer responsibility
The buyer is responsible for confirming that the purchase and intended research use are lawful in the buyer’s jurisdiction, that the buyer is 18 years of age or older, and that handling, storage, and disposal meet the buyer’s laboratory standards. Certificates of analysis, when provided, are lot-specific.
No evaluation by FDA
These products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Relationship to other policies
This Policy is part of the contract of sale. It does not replace the Terms of Sale, Terms of Use, Disclaimer, Shipping Policy, or Refund Policy. If those documents conflict on research-use restrictions, the stricter research-use language controls.
